Sylvie Noël, 54 years old, was appointed as Covéa Group CPO (MAAF mutual insurance group, MMA insurance social network, GMF general mutual insurance company) on July 2012.
She was Sales Manager at Cap Gemini from 1997 to 2004 and held the position of Purchasing Manager at MAIF Mutual Insurance Company until 2009.
As an external consultant for Covéa since April 2010, Sylvie Noël has taken over management of Covéa Purchasing, responsible for the EMA (Ensemble pour Mieux Acheter – Together for Better Purchasing) program. She’s responsible for ensuring functional coordination of Purchasing activities within the Group and for driving procurement processes for all Covea’s subsidiaries.
CPO – Sagemcom
Jean-Claude Barberan is Purchasing Director of Sagemcom.
Until 1990, he was in TRT (Philips subsidiary in Telecom Engineering and Defense). In 1990, he joined SAT (SAGEM subsidiary) as a Purchasing Manager. In 2001, he became Purchasing Director of SAGEM Network Business Unit. In 2005, he was the Sagem Communication Purchasing Director for the Broadband Communication Business Group.
In 2008, he was appointed as V.P. Purchasing Director of Sagem Communications.
Jean-Claude Barberan has a MBA from IFG.
CPO – Crédit Agricole S.A.
Sylvie-Robin-Romet joined Crédit Agricole in 2008 as Deputy Director General in charge of French operations for Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole SA. She was appointed Purchasing Director for the Crédit Agricole SA Group in 2013. Previously, she served as president of Kadéos (card and gift certificate specialist), then worked for Accor Services, as DG of Accentiv’Kadéos, for Le Printemps as Market Manager for Home and Stationery, and for Disneyland Paris, where she was Central Purchasing Manager. She trained at ESLSCA and the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (she also holds an MBA ESSEC).
Indirect Purchasing Director – FNAC
Benoît Mainguy has been managing indirect purchasing and the Performance Plan of the Fnac Group for 3 years. Trained at X-Ponts, he began his career in the purchasing department of PSA Peugeot Citroën on serial purchases and Internet marketplace projects, and then progressed to the management consulting firm BearingPoint, before joining the purchasing department of Veolia Environnement between 2008 and 2011, as Deputy Director.
Senior Director – Sourcing Excellence, Global Strategic Sourcing – Whirlpool
Blaine Hurley was appointed to his current position as Senior Director for the Sourcing Excellence Group within Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) of Whirlpool in 2009. The Sourcing Excellence group works across all Purchasing Capabilities including Regional Product Management, Finished Product Sourcing, Global Commodities, Indirect Procurement, and Supplier Quality.
Blaine is responsible, among other things, for overseeing the development and deployment of GSS Transformation initiatives, business integration of processes, systems and IT activities, and associate competency development and training. Prior to joining Whirlpool, Blaine acquired 16 years of experience in Honda Manufacturing’s Purchasing Department. He also held the position of Director of purchasing planning and cost management at Nissan for 3 years prior to that.
Head of the Purchasing Department – EPFL
Elvis Fontaine is Head of the Purchasing Department for goods and services of the Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne (EPFL). Before joining the EPFL, he held the position of Purchasing Manager within the Unilabs group, one of the leading international laboratory analysis and medical diagnostics networks. He also held various procurement and supply chain positions within DaimlerChrysler groups for 7 years and Carestream Health for 4 years as Head of Infrastructure Purchasing, IT, Marketing and Services for EMEA and India.
Elvis Fontaine holds a master’s from Sciences Po Rennes.
VP Purchasing – Nexter
Franck Devienne joined the Nexter Group in 2013 where he initially held the position of Purchasing Manager of Nexter Munitions before being appointed Head of Purchasing and Operations of the Munitions Centre of Nexter Systems in 2014. Here, he notably set up a European purchasing section (annual purchasing volume of nearly €300M).
Franck Devienne started his career with Arc International before joining the Trèves Group, where he progressed for 18 years to take the position of Purchasing Manager in 2011.
Franck Devienne graduated from the National Higher School of Arts and Crafts.
Director of Purchasing and Cost Optimization Department – Amrest
Marek Dyczek has 11 years of experience in creating and developing of procurement processes in indirect purchasing – mainly in retail and HoReCa businesses, creating and reorganizing purchasing departments and, as Cost Killer, improving cost awareness in organizations.
He also worked at Carrefour Poland & Lot Catering.
Marek is a supporter of strong negotiations and separating Procurement from other operating functions. His experiences and learnings from Poland has been transferred to whole CE region within AmRest organization.

Matteo Perondi has joined Generali Assicurazioni as Procurement Excellence Head, responsible by either defining, supporting and implementing any type of initiative that could improve the Procurement efficiency.
Procurement Excellence acts as single point of contact for all compliance-related issues within Procurement and is responsible for developing and implementing all guidelines as well as the overall governance within the Group Procurement Organization.
Matteo has more than 10 years of international experience in a wide range of industries and functions, focusing on procurement and supply chain management in companies as Pirelli, IGPDecaux, DHL Supply Chain, Microsoft and UniCredit.
He holds a M.Sc. degree in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering at Polytechnic of Milan and a MBA at IE Business School of Madrid.
Managing Director – KPMG
Mr. Andes is a Managing Director in KPMG’s Procurement Advisory practice and is the US Lead for Healthcare Life Sciences. In his role, he serves leading Pharma, Med Device and Provider organizations in the US as they look to build new and innovative organizational, category and operational strategies and deploy those across their global operations.
Prior to joining KPMG, he was responsible for running GHX’s core Exchange Business Unit, a nearly $75M business unit in North America. Within the business unit he was responsible for strategic planning, product roadmap development and execution and in-year financial results including revenue, billings and margin. Upon initially joining GHX, Teran was responsible for practice leadership and client service for GHX’s Consulting Group focusing in the areas of supply chain strategy, cost reduction, process improvement, information technology and broad enterprise transformation initiatives for client organizations in the US and Canada.
He also had leadership roles at Whirlpool and spent nearly a decade at another Big 4 prior in the areas of Procurement and Supply Chain.
Managing Partner – CKS
François Collineau is Managing Partner of CKS Business Consultant firm, where he oversees key accounts activities in the manufacture, financial and healthcare sectors. He’s also in charge of CKS Outsourcing, the outsourcing branch of the CKS group. Francois has 17 years of experience in international project management in the field of Procurement transformation and strategies, e-Procurement, outsourcing and reverse auctions. He started his career as a consultant at Arthur Andersen and previously held position of interim procurement manager in the USA, manager for a Spend Management vendor. Francois is a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and ESCP.
Procurement IS and Performance Manager – Bouygues Immobilier
Bouygues Immobilier business is to find land and to turn it into housing and office building. Thierry Blazy role within this decentralised group is to unify local procurement processes across the group agencies. To do that he is supported by a network of buyers located throughout France, the group spend management suite and the deployment of procurement best practices.
He is in charge of Procurement IS and Performance within Bouygues Immobilier new Procurement Department.
